The server configuration (per server, we have 3 for about 150 users)
Nothing much here, just printers being added and removed from sessions and the occasional TermservDevices error. This also doesn't coincide with the server freezes > Can't find the event id but sometimes a users registry hive doesn't unload completely and an error is generated. But almost never on the moment of the server freeze) ( this hardly ever happens, maybe once a day. We check the log files for clues as to what happened but we hardly ever find anything.Įvent id: 1003 -> the software protection service has completed licensing status check ( about 4 times every 30 seconds)Įvent id: 45 -> Outlook has loaded the following add-ins ( about once every minute)Įvent id: 1000 -> Hung application(excel, outlook or navision). We either wait for the server to recover itself or we have to hard reboot the server.ģ. All our sessions on that particular server hang.Ģ. I've searched endlessly but haven't come up with a viable answer and windows 2003 isn't helping me much either.ġ.
We have been having problems with our terminal servers for a while now and I have been searching for a clue as to what is exactly happening
